The following are professional conferences and meetings that you may want to submit a presentation idea.


  1. The 57th Annual Southeastern Regional Association of Teacher Educators (SRATE) Call for Proposals deadline has been extended to July 31, 2010.
The SRATE conference is being held at the Millennium Maxwell House Hotel in Nashville on October 28, 29 and 30, 2010. We are anticipating an exciting conference event with excellent keynote speakers, informative sessions, and exciting night events planned. There will be something for everyone.
We are pleased to announce the following special sessions and guest speaker:
October 28, Thursday Keynote Speaker:
  • Tennessee Commissioner of Education, Dr. Timothy Webb, will be the guest speaker for the dinner banquet.
October 29, Friday Special Sessions:
  • TBR Teacher Education Redesign (Dr. Paula Short, Dr. Kandy Hill-Clarke, and Dr. Rick Short)
  • TN Holocaust Survivors (Dr. Margaret Deitrich, Dr. Benita Bruster, Dr. Bettie Barrett, APSU)
